Amazon Product Image Resizer
Amazon lets shoppers zoom in on product photos, so it wants large, square images — 2000×2000 pixels is the sweet spot, and anything under 1000 pixels on the longest side loses the zoom feature. This tool crops your photo to 1:1 and resizes it to Amazon's specs without uploading it anywhere.
Amazon requirements last checked 2026-07. Marketplaces update their specs — always confirm in your seller dashboard before large uploads.

How it works
- 1
Add your product photos
The resizer is preset to Amazon's recommended 2000 × 2000 pixels. Batches are supported.
- 2
Choose crop or pad
Crop-to-fill produces the exact frame; pad keeps the whole product visible on a background color.
- 3
Check the requirements
Main images require a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255).
- 4
Download
Individually or all photos as one ZIP.

Good to know
- As of our last check (July 2026), Amazon recommends 2000×2000 px and requires at least 1000 px on the longest side for zoom to work.
- Main images need a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255) — an off-white or light gray backdrop can get a listing suppressed.
- Your product should fill at least 85% of the frame, so crop tight before you resize.
- Keep text, logos, watermarks, and borders off the main image; some are tolerated on secondary images but not in the first slot.
- Export as JPEG in sRGB — it is Amazon's preferred format and keeps files comfortably under the 10 MB cap.

Frequently asked questions
What image size does Amazon require for product listings?
As of our last check (July 2026), Amazon requires at least 1000 pixels on the longest side and recommends 2000×2000 pixels. Requirements can change, so confirm in Seller Central before a large upload.
Does the main image really need a pure white background?
Yes — Amazon's guidelines call for RGB 255, 255, 255 behind the product on the main image. This tool crops and resizes but does not remove backgrounds, so shoot on white or clean up the background first.
Will resizing to 2000×2000 stretch or distort my photo?
No. The tool crops to a 1:1 frame first and then scales, so proportions stay intact. You control which part of the photo is kept in the crop.
Can anyone see the product photos I process here?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser; the images are never uploaded to our servers or anywhere else.
My photo is under 1000 px — can I just upscale it?
Upscaling adds pixels but not detail, and a soft, blurry image can still hurt conversions or be rejected. Reshooting at a higher resolution is the more reliable fix.
