Accessibility Statement

Statement date: July 14, 2026

Our commitment

PNGful should work for everyone, regardless of how they use the web. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of building the product — not an afterthought layered on top.

What we do

Measures we take across the site and its tools include:

  • Keyboard operability. Every tool can be operated with a keyboard alone — selecting files, adjusting settings, and downloading results all work without a mouse.
  • Visible focus indicators. Interactive elements show a clear focus outline so keyboard users always know where they are.
  • Screen-reader announcements. Processing status — when a tool starts working, finishes, or hits an error — is announced to assistive technology, not just shown visually.
  • Color contrast. Text and interface elements are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios in both light and dark themes.
  • Reduced motion. When your system requests reduced motion, animations and transitions are minimized.
  • Touch targets. Buttons and controls are sized for comfortable use on touch devices.
  • Semantic structure. Pages use meaningful headings, landmarks, and labeled form controls so assistive technology can navigate them predictably.

Accessibility is checked as part of building and changing the site — with keyboard-only passes, automated checks, and screen-reader spot testing — rather than audited once and forgotten. When we ship a new tool, its accessible path is part of the definition of done.

Known limitations

We are honest about where we are not perfect yet:

  • Some complex drag-based interactions — such as dragging crop handles on an image — are inherently pointer-oriented. Every one of these has a keyboard-accessible alternative through numeric inputs, so the same result can be achieved without dragging, but the drag interaction itself may not be fully keyboard-operable.
  • When advertising is shown, third-party ad content is rendered by the ad network and may not meet the same accessibility standard as the rest of the site. We do not control the markup inside those ad frames.

Feedback

If you hit an accessibility barrier anywhere on PNGful — a control you cannot reach, a status you cannot perceive, text you cannot read — please tell us at hello@pngful.com. Include the page, the tool, and the assistive technology or browser you were using if you can.

We are committed to responding to accessibility feedback and to fixing genuine barriers as a priority. Reports like these directly shape what we work on next.
