Application Form Signature Maker
Government portals, exam registrations, and visa applications are notoriously picky about signature uploads — small pixel dimensions, tight file-size caps, and rejections with no explanation. This preset formats a photo of your signature to the shape these forms usually expect: black ink, white background, around 400 pixels wide, and near 20 KB.
Leave empty for best quality. Targets force JPG unless transparency is on.

Download
A clean, ready-to-use signature image.
Common uses
- Meet the signature upload specs on government and visa portals
- Prepare a signature file for exam and university applications
- Compress a signature photo that a form rejected for file size
- Keep a correctly formatted signature file ready for recurring forms
Good to know
- Read the form's exact requirements first — portals differ on dimensions and file size, and some also demand a specific format like JPEG.
- Sign with a dark pen on white paper and photograph in even light; forms often reject images with visible shadows or gray backgrounds.
- The 20 KB target sits under the caps most portals enforce, which commonly range from 10 to 50 KB.
- If the extraction picks up paper shadows, adjust the tolerance slider until the background is uniformly white.

Frequently asked questions
What size should a signature be for online forms?
Most application portals ask for something in the range of 140–400 pixels wide and 10–50 KB. This preset outputs 400 pixels at about 20 KB, but always match the specific numbers your form publishes.
Why does the portal keep rejecting my signature image?
The usual culprits are file size over the cap, wrong dimensions, wrong format, or a background that isn't white. Fix the size and background here, and double-check whether the form wants JPEG or PNG.
Does shrinking my signature to 20 KB make it blurry?
At 400 pixels wide, 20 KB is enough for a clean signature — simple black strokes on white compress very efficiently. Blurriness usually traces back to a poor source photo, not the compression.
Is it safe to process my signature in a browser tool?
Here, yes — the image is processed entirely on your device and never uploaded to us. Only you decide where the finished file goes.
